The Europe from the Sky team, established since 2010 at Chambley aerodrome (LFJY) in the Grand Est region, was tripled in 2020 at the congress of the International Association of Professional Aerial Photographers (PAPA) which is held in early March in Los Angeles.
The Aerial Photographer of the Year Award is the highest award given by this global association. It has been awarded annually since 2006 to a photographer who has demonstrated a significant contribution to aerial photography.
It is the first time that it has been given to a European aerial photographer.
The association, which is headquartered in Brookshire (Texas-USA), was created in 1974 and brings together 150 professionals worldwide.
- Jean-Luc Kaiser received the Aerial Photographer of the Year Award.
- The photo of the Chausey archipelago at low tide received the public award.
- And Stéphane Champin, the company’s aerial photographer, was admitted for the first time as a judge in this association, which confirms the recognition of his expertise.
